I have two presentations to create: one for flashes 101 and one for leadership. For my flashes class, whoever makes the most convincing presentation will have their idea become a real honors college event. We are thinking of having a Christmas party the week before exams. My other one is about where we should go as a class for Spring break. We want to drive down to Asheville, North Carolina to help with hurricane relief. I will try to put in some effort this weekend but I would rather watch the games. My friend featured in my post from yesterday is coming Saturday so yeah. I am glad Beloved is over, we should watch the movie during class next week.

I almost forgot to show you lot the cat from the restaurant. It reminded me of Joy Luck Club.

Hi blog family. I am committing to my lease tonight for an East Town home for next year! This is exciting to take the next step and become closer with my roommates. Yesterday I had an architecture exam but there were two exams. I didn’t know which one to take so I did both and Google’s reverse image search saved me🤞🏻. I had my weekly fraternity meeting last night and I got a professional headshot taken by one of the members. There was a speaker who works in urgent care and he was so entertaining, he deserved more props. Then I went to Rosies as usual and was stuck listening to my prince friend yap my ear off for an hour. Fun fact, it is national pickle day and they are giving out free jumbo pickles at Rosies. I am glad it is the weekend, hopefully it does not rain anymore. Also is anyone going to FAB’s Binglow tonight?

I’ve been behind on the book for a couple days now, but I finally have the time to finish the reading before class so I’ll be caught up today. I definitely keep getting some confusion on jumping from story to story but I’m getting familiar with the author’s writing style so that’s making it easier to understand. I also have a big break from assignments this week in all my classes besides this one because I had a bunch of exams last week. It’s definitely harder for me to read when I’m worrying about the things I have to do in other classes.

Hi guys, I finally got a new vacuum today, mine from amazon broke so I was living with a dirty floor for about a week. My room is super clean now and that makes me feel organized. Anyways, I’m still waiting on my Anatomy exam grade to come back. I either did really good or really bad, there’s not really an in between in that class. My parents are taking me to dinner tonight, I was so excited to go home this weekend until I remembered it’s not actually Thanksgiving yet. I get to go home next weekend though so that’s good.

I have good news. I have had issues with my upper back for so long for an unknown reason, and recently I got an x-ray of my back, and the verdict was that one of my discs was compressed. So I had to start going to PT, and that wasn’t working, so then I had to go to a chiropractor. This chiropractor I went to saved my life. He did some magic or something on my back, and the pain literally vanished. This is amazing, 10/10 experience.

After getting pretty much caught up to Beloved, I’m not sure I really like the book at all. I made a previous post saying I enjoyed it more than our previous books, but after getting further in the book my mind definitely changed. I find it boring and not that interesting, and it doesn’t help that it can get confusing.

After finishing the book and trying to understand the point of the book, I am struggling to understand the point of Beloved. She was a spirit at first and then a physical person who tortured Sethe and then once again was a spirit of the house. I can kind of understand as it taught Denver I feel like to mature and grow up, as she got a job. I think it also brought the neighborhood back together as it was before Beloved was killed as a baby. I find it hard to stay focused on Perusal as it just seems like one never ending page, but I understand where Luke is coming from that it would be hard to remember to comment while reading somewhere else. Overall, I feel as if I understand the book better now that I finished it but there are still some things that I do not understand.

So,my life has been pretty normal and boring since my last post. I have been trying to do schoolwork and stay ahead but am lacking motivation. I just want it to be thanksgiving break so I can eat some good food and then Christmas break. I feel like all of my classes have so much going on right now and I just do not want to do anything besides lay in bed under a warm blanket. I hate how cold it is getting, like it was so warm and then got cold and freezing. I would much rather live at the beach. As I started to write this, I noticed a big spider crawling on my wall of my ROOM. I do not like spiders, and this is like the 5th one this year in my room. Looking at the picture I realize some may not think it is big, but I hate spiders, so they are all big. I did kill it, after I lost it and almost started crying though.

I am adding on to Luke’s post. I also feel as though the actions of each character in this book are now making a lot more sense to what I thought was nonsense information in the beginning. It is becoming easier to understand the characters now and their ways of life because of that too. All of the puzzle pieces are slowly falling into place. I also was very weirded out by the video in class to say the least. I also feel like I have no answers for the questions Dale asked, and then I feel like I retained nothing. But I will say perusall is actually helping me retain information a little bit better because it forces me to pay attention.

Hey guys! I am fortunately feeling so much better today. I finally broke my fever. I am feeling defeated because I am now behind in a lot of my classes. But I think I also might be behind because its crunch time trying to get everything done in the first place. Talk about a bad time to be sick. I don’t have much more of an update because I did not have that grand of a time the past few days as I spent all of my time in bed. But I hope everyone else’s blogs are a little bit more interesting to read!
